Creative & Colourful Monoprinting

Want to do something creative but a blank page sends you into a panic?  Do you love colour?

Then you’ll love the playfulness and excitement of monoprinting! This is a free and expressive type of printmaking which uses found objects to print one-of-a-kind and often unexpected images.  No drawing skills or art experience required.  Its a fun technique that will ignite your creative spark!

We’ll be using ‘Arthur’, the studio etching press, to create our images with inks that are oil-based water-clean up and artist quality printmaking papers. You’ll also learn how you can print at home using a pasta maker or die-cut machine.

All printmaking materials supplied.   You’ll have access to an extensive collection of interesting bits to print with including leaves, grasses, threads, mesh, feathers and paper stencils.
