Our workshop program for Autumn is out now, check out what's on in our website calendar!

Using monoprinting you’ll gain skills in:
To create our prints, we will be working with ‘Arthur’ the large etching press. We will be focussing on making and using stencils in additional to using found objects, layering with trace monotypes and reductive mark-making.
We’ll make our stencils in different ways with techniques such as burning and tearing to create random edges. Our stencil materials include paper, light card, or plastics such as acetate, yupo, and old x-rays.
Students will be asked to bring:
All other materials are supplied include artist quality printmaking inks and papers.
This workshop will wake up your art practice and even challenge you a bit. You’ll be rewarded with an immersive printmaking experience full of unexpected and serendipitous images which could take you in a whole new direction.
Note: Prior experience with monoprinting or attendance at one of our Creative & Colourful Monoprinting workshops is preferred but not essential.
