During this workshop you’ll be creating small delicate vessels made of paper and cloth.
It’s a meditative process of layering cloth, papers and thread over a mould. You can work with the studio’s stash of handmade papers, repurposed dressmaking patterns and coloured japanese papers, or you are welcome to bring along any special papers you may have.
You should be able to complete at least 2 vessels in this session.
Your vessels could be used to house a collection of natural objects like shells, seed pods or other little treasures, or just to be admired on a shelf or window sill.
This is a fun and relaxing session that gives you the skills to create unique 3-dimensional forms with papers and textiles.
